Galahad is not sure how he feels about all the people coming in and out today. It makes him think of how no one came for him or Gu Xiang last time. So he doesn't look up when Eliot comes in, just continues sketching Claudius' latest bouquet for the welcome table. Eliot is looking for someone else: Galahad doesn't mean to distract him.
